Save On Mixed Cases At Majestic
January 6, 2008
Majestic Wines has huge savings on mixed cases of wines and champagnes. Mostly you will save between £15 and £20 but some savings get even higher.
Most of the cases are themed (ie: French, Rioja, Southern Hemisphere) and they’re not made up of the usual slow sellers - there’s a good mix of popular and quality wines in there.

Free Wine Accessories Box
December 23, 2007
Vintage Wine Gifts - who sell a great range of high quality vintage wines - are giving away what, I must admit, is a very stylish wine accessories box.
The package includes a brushed stainless steel corkscrew and foil cutter, a drip stopper, a pourer and a stopper all presented in a silk lined box.
To claim this offer, all you need to do is spend more than £19.97 or more with Vintage Wine Gifts. They also offer free delivery on all orders over £39.00, which can’t be bad.
This is the ideal place to get that unique wine gift - I’ve used them a couple of times to buy business type gifts to impress potential clients in my day job and they do have an impressive selection of fine wines and ports.

Vina Calera Discounts
December 23, 2007
Vinos Blancos de Castilla’s Vina Calera is a sharp but flavourful white of the much underrated Viura grape. It’s one for the fans of the driest whites (like myself) and with a discount of £7.20 on 12 bottles at Baileys Wine, you could do at lot worse if you want to drink something just a little bit different.
It’s an immediately likeable wine and works well as a contrast to very rich foods.
As with the El Coto offer from the same company, there’s no details of when this deal expires, but stocking up now just in case would be no bad thing.

Save £9.60 on El Coto Rose
December 23, 2007
Baileys Wines - the Spanish wine specialists - are currently offering a healthy £9.60 discount if you buy 12 bottles of this pleasing rose. It’s a fruity wine, blending Tempranillo and Grenache grapes and is nicely aromatic.
It won’t be to everyone’s tastes, but it’s definitely quaffable and with nearly a tenner off, it’s worth putting a few bottles away for casual dining with friends. I’m not sure when the offer expires, but if you’re looking for a drinkable wine that goes well with pasta and fish, you should give the El Coto a try.
